Steve Kemble, “America’s Sassisest Lifestyle Guru”
Books: Open: An Autobiography by Andre Agassi. This book is truly a journey. The headlines talk about his drug use, yet this is not what this book is all about, it’s about perseverance. You don’t feel as if he wrote the book simply for a massive advance like most celebrity, politician, or sports figure autobiographies. This book is so very real; you won’t want to put it down. Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea by Chelsea Handler. It’s laugh-out-loud funny, and contains stories from the author’s life from a very amusing and cynical manner. This is not for children as you can suspect by the title.
Websites: I visit and update my own site www.stevekemble.com and my blog www.adoseofsass.com at least two times a day. Additionally, because I do a celebrity report for the “Gene & Julie Show” on litefm 103.7 (KVIL) each morning, I visit the US Weekly site (I am also a member of the Fashion Police for it!), usmagazine.com, perezhilton.com, giftgenius.com, weddzilla.com, 1037litefm.com and thebudgetfashionista.com.
Magazines, newspapers, journals: I have lots of time for magazines because I spend over 70% of my time traveling the globe on airplanes filming TV, doing radio, or doing parties! I always leave them all for the flight attendants (they love me.) Each month I read: D Magazine (of course!), Texas Monthly, Vanity Fair, Details, GQ, Esquire, Sports Illustrated (yes! Sports Illustrated! I serve as a fashion corespondent for ESPN so I need to keep up with player fashion), InStyle, UsWeekly, People, Time, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, Martha Stewart, Rachel Ray. As for newspapers – I have delivered to the house each day the Dallas Morning News, Wall Street Journal and USA Today — and have them all read by 6:30 am. (I get up each day at 4:30 am to do research for my radio segment.)
